April 12, 2025. (Sat) FULL MOON FESTIVAL: 7AM to 1PM, we will be hosting a panning booth in Sky’s the Limit compound outside of the 29 Palms entrance to Joshua tree National Park. This event is geared towards education and families with children. Volunteers are needed so please let the President know if you are available. Sign up roster will be at the March meeting.

April 25-27, 2025 -- (Friday - Sunday) CAMPOUT AT THE ORD MOUNTAINS The Grizzly 4 Claim is here for your mining pleasure.  It is the one FCM campout where you can bring your trailer, motor home, tent or sleep in your vehicle if so desired without needing a 4 X 4.  This is remote camping like our other claims, so no hookups.  Once again, we have invited Valley Prospectors, Hi Desert Gold Diggers and Prospectors Club of Southern California.  Our Grizzly 4 Claim and Hi Desert Gold Digger's Claims Hot Diggity and Bull Frog will be open to all participants (for this event only).  Come and join us at the campfire each night ---with a potluck on Saturday. The annual FCM Treasure Hunt hosted by Jon Carlson on Saturday is a real treat.

May 01, 2025 - First day of Membership Renewals .  Membership for the 2025026 season starts on this day and ends on July 31st.  Renewal applications will be in the newsletter and on line.

May 10, 2025 - Saturday GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING - 11AM (note earlier time)  General Membership meeting at Ron and Carol Matthias's house in Yucca valley.  Directions and map will be in newsletter and on line first of May.  Voting will take place for your new Vice President and Secretary.  Be sure to attend this important meeting.  FCM to provide hamburgers and hotdogs.  Please bring your chair, drinks, and a potluck item.
